Steven Rhynard

Steven Rhynard is a Michigan-based audio engineer and studio owner, and the founder of Rhynard Audio.

Working from Southwest Michigan, he specializes in recording, mixing, and production for independent artists who value clarity, depth, and dynamic contrast.

Steven approaches every project as a complete system — from room acoustics and routing to arrangement and final release strategy. His work emphasizes translation across real-world playback systems, ensuring creative decisions hold up beyond the studio.

Through Rhynard Audio, he provides full-band recording, vocal production, mixing, and consulting for artists throughout Southwest Michigan and Northern Indiana.

At the core of the studio is a simple philosophy: remove friction from the creative process so artists can focus entirely on performance and expression.

He is also a member of the independent project Still On Earth and remains committed to building sustainable, artist-centered creative infrastructure.
